Student's Work Sculpted Orchids
These lovely and delicate orchids were sculpted by Aga (Beaded Keepsakes) following my Polymer Clay Orchids Tutorial.
Aga is planning to use these focal beads for some very special necklaces, and I hope that she will share more pictures with me once those necklaces are finished.
Meanwhile, take a look at this video featuring her other works.

Student Work:
Faux Lampwork
I received a few pictures from Nadezhda Dyachenko, who bought my Faux Lampwork Tutorial about a month ago.
I keep repeating how much I enjoy seeing what other people are doing with my technique.
Nadezhda is experimenting a lot - with colors, shapes, and overall designs.
I especially like her green tablet beads in this picture:

Student's Work:
Bracelet
I received an e-mail from Marivi (bOOlingas) with a link to the picture of her new polymer clay bracelet.
Marivi made this bracelet based on my tutorial.
Beautiful interpretation of the original idea, isn't it?
Last time I checked this picture on Flickr, there were 90 comments from people admiring this bracelet!

Student Work:
Faux Cloisonne
I received an e-mail today from Sabine Spiesser, who bought my Faux Cloisonne tutorial some time ago and wanted to share the results of her experiments with this technique. She wrote: "...Here are my first rather chunky attempts at the process. I absolutely love it and am totally addicted to nursing these pieces along. I've only photographed a few."
I think her pieces are beautiful. I love everything about them: the designs, the colors, and especially the texture.
I always enjoy seeing the works of people who follow my tutorials. Thank you for sharing!

...And More Student Work!
I've got another picture from Donna (I wrote about her work earlier this month).
This time, Donna followed my Steampunk Butterfly Tutorial, and this is the pendant she made. She says, the she showed this pendant on her www.mosaicandstainedglass.org mosaic site, facebook, and flickr, and was very pleasantly surprised by the amount of comments that she received. Donna was kind enough to provide a link to my tutorial, and I really appreciate it.

On a side note: my kids are back after spending two months with their grandparents, and while I missed them a lot, I have to admit that now the amount of my free time dropped down catastrophically...

Zuleykha, who bought my Faux Cloisonne tutorial, responded to my yesterday's post with a link to a picture of her creation. I decided to post her picture here.
Zuleykha used my technique to make her own design, which is very beautiful and received many compliments both in her photo album and in her blog.
Zuleykha is an anthusiastic polymer clayer, and has a shop on Etsy, Zuleykha.etsy.com, where she sells her pretty beads covered with millefiori cane slices.

Student Work
I absolutely love it when people, who bought my tutorials, share the pictures of their finished creations. I also love to see how my students change the techniques and projects I teach to make them their own.
That is why I was so excited when Arlene Harrison (harrisonhollowdesigns.blogspot.com) sent me the pictures of these bangle style bracelets she made following my newest Polymer Clay and Gemstones Bracelet Tutorial.
Arlene mixed the beads of various sizes and made the bead inclusion multi-string. She also used stamps to add texture to her bracelets and added swirled details. The resulting bracelets look very beautiful and distinctively different from the project in the tutorial, which is great. I am happy to see how Arlene took the ideas presented in the tutorial and used them as a base for her own creativity and imagination.
Way to go, Arlene, and thank you for sharing!

Student's Work
This amazing faux cloisonne interpretation of one of Mucha's Art Nouveau pieces was done by Andy Pan, who learned this technique from my tutorial. The finished piece is 6” by 8” and the wire work alone took at least 10 or 12 hours. I am extremely proud and amazed by Andy's patience and precision. Just beautiful!

I just saw a new comment in my gallery on DeviantArt.com. It is from a person, who've learned my faux cloisonne technique though my tutorial.

There is a number of faux cloisonne pieces in his gallery, and I just love what he is doing with this technique. Make sure to read the artist's explanations!
